Septic tank pumping
A tank that gets pumped on schedule protects the drain field. A tank that doesn't eventually sends solids where they can't be washed back out, and then you're not buying a pumping — you're buying a field.

How often a tank needs pumping
It depends on tank size and how many people live in the house. Most households land somewhere in the three-to-five-year range. If you've just bought the place and nobody can tell you when it was last done, it's due.
Finding a lid nobody's found in twenty years
On older rural properties the tank lid is frequently buried and unmarked. We locate it, dig it up, and — if you want — set the access at grade so the next pumping doesn't start with a shovel and a guess.
